Dr. Anita Baker is a 1985 graduate of Kansas State University school of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Baker has been a practicing veterinarian in the Colorado Springs area since her graduation from KSU. Since 1999, Dr. Baker has practiced in the Falcon area, enjoying the benefits of providing veterinary care to the "down to earth" citizens of Eastern El Paso County. Dr. Baker and her husband Wayne have two children, both currently college students. Jennifer is a senior at the University of Kansas and Tyler will be entering his second year of college in Fort Collins, CO.

Hobbies for Dr. Baker include the range of outdoor activities, but she particularly enjoys spending time at home with their four dogs and two horses. Dog obedience classes, horseback riding in the mountains, and tending to flowers at home are activities that she enjoys when not at the clinic. Having grown up around dogs, cats and horses, becoming a veterinarian was a calling from an early age for Dr. Baker. With her love for animals, it is no surprise Dr. Baker especially enjoys the greeting the Baker dogs provide upon walking in the door.

Kassie Roth joined us in November of 2006 as an office manager after graduating Northeastern Junior college with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Animal Science. Growing up in northeastern Colorado, she kept active with her animals. From showing horses and completive horse judging throughout 4-H, FFA, and AQHA sanctioned events to assisting in a local vet's office while in high school she knew at an early age her passion for animals would one day lead her to a career in a veterinary field. Along with her horses, Kassie raises miniature Australian shepherds with her fiancé Randy. They are expecting a new addition to the family, a baby girl, in December of this year.
